Process for Reactivation of Inoperative/Dormant Accounts

Savings/Current Accounts are classified as Inoperative/Dormant if there is no Customer Induced Transaction (Financial or Non-Financial) or no KYC updation for the last 2 years.

Reactivation of Inoperative/Dormant Accounts

Customers need to visit the Base Branch and submit the following:

  • Request for Activation of Inoperative/Dormant Account, signed by the customer with details like Account Number, Account Name, Address, Mobile Number/Email ID, etc.
  • Copy of Officially Valid Documents (Original Documents must be produced for verification).
  • Latest passport-size photograph of the customer.
  • In case of Non-Individual Accounts/Current Accounts:
    • Valid documents of the entity.
    • Request for activation of Inoperative/Dormant Account.
    • Officially Valid Documents and passport-size photograph of the Authorised Signatory/Signatories.
